“Couples Counselling can help by exploring what your needs are in your relationship, how you meet those needs, also how you communicate with those closest to you. Emotionally focused therapy,an intervention based on scientific study of adult love and bonding processes in couples, is designed to address distress in the intimate relationship of adults. Strategies from emotionally focused therapy can also be used in family therapy to help family members connect and improve emotional attachments.”
My counselling sessions take place in a safe, supportive, confidential, and non-judgmental environment, where clients are encouraged to explore personal growth and gain deeper self-understanding.
As a professional counsellor, my approach is integrative—drawing on a range of therapeutic models including Psychoanalysis, Person-Centred Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Cognitive Therapies, and Emotionally Focused Therapy. This allows me to tailor the work to each client’s unique needs and experiences.
